Works offline once installed. If this PC lacks Microsoft's WebView2 (most already have it), setup downloads it once, so keep the internet on while installing.

Larger because it includes WebView2 109, the last version for Windows 7, so it installs and runs without internet.
Not for 32-bit Windows 7. Check Computer, Properties, System type.

Macs with an M-series chip, macOS 11 or later.
Installs and runs without internet.
No Intel Mac build yet. On an Intel Mac, use the website in Safari or Chrome.

Opening it the first time
The app isn't code-signed yet, so Windows and macOS warn before the first launch.
- Windows: on “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Mac: open the .dmg and drag TypingKeeda to Applications. If macOS says it can't check the app, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
How the app differs from the website
- Progress is saved inside the app, separately from your browser. To move it across, use Backup progress on one and restore it on the other.
- AI practice words and fresh AI passages need our server, so they are only on the website. Every built-in lesson and exam passage is in the app.
Check the download
Compare the SHA-256 of the file you got with this list (also in SHA256SUMS). Windows: certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256. Mac: shasum -a 256 <file>.
