Exam rules can differ

The rules, marking schemes, passage lengths, fonts and layouts on our exam pages were gathered from public coaching and practice sites, which are listed as sources on each page. They are not taken from official notifications. Rules change between recruitments, and the official notification for your exam always overrides anything on this site.

Scores are estimates

Speed, accuracy and marks shown in practice and exam mode follow the reported formulas as closely as we can. The real test may count words, errors and marks differently, and exam conditions (hardware, software, nerves) differ from home practice. A qualifying score here does not guarantee a qualifying score in the exam.

Typing layouts and fonts

The Remington layout here follows the DevLys 010 / KrutiDev key positions but types Unicode text, so you don't need those fonts installed. Small differences from the exam software are possible, especially for rare conjuncts. Tell us if you find one and we'll fix it.

Outside links

We link to other websites as sources and for further reading. We don't control them and are not responsible for their content.
